July's Speaker

“Shelley Pearson....The Franchise Lady”

At the coming FSB meeting, Shelley will be talking about your exit strategy.

Shelley Pearson

Shelley PearsonShelley moved from South Africa in 1998 where she worked for Virgin Active as a Financial Manager, and landed her first job in the UK working for Lord Grosvenor. She moved on to continue in the property industry, working for a franchisor of a large network of independent estate agents in London. This is where she supported over 75 franchisees, created an inhouse Training Academy from scratch; got to have lunch at the House of Lords; and sat on Sector Skills Councils as well as government forums for the introduction of Home Information Packs.

With a Business Degree in Economics and just over 8 years of experience in the franchise world, she is now an independent franchise consultant focussing on the small business sector. She has travelled Europe and America extensively, and has her eyes set on Australia and New Zealand next.

Shelley will be giving us an interactive talk on what small businesses need to be paying attention to in the 5, 10 and 15 years leading up to their exit of their business. What you do today can add 40% more value to the sale of your business when the time comes.
